Implementation of Automation at Postbank
Cognitive Automation is seen by Postbank as one important lever to make banking backoffice operations more efficient, faster and scalable. 
Through RPA implementation projects run since April 2017, Postbank has been able to add 40 robots as their digital workforce, driving significant savings throughout different functions. Postbank is also looking in combining RPA with Cognitive and OCR capabilities to maximize the Automation level and achieve faster client response times.

Rene has global responsibility for standards and guidelines, product management and the centre of excellence for RPA at Credit Suisse. His team also manages the operations and support, and a small part of the solution delivery across the bank. With an eye to the future, Rene also leads the initiation of RPA Lab which is an innovation centre for ML, Ai and Big Data capabilities with RPA as the core processing unit.

Technologists speak of the modern enterprise having a "two-speed" technology architecture: systems of engagement designed around a customer journey and experience, and systems of record. RPA and Digital Workers are the gears to connecting these technologies, and a key component to the digitalization of processes and overall transformation. In his presentation, Tobias Unger will touch upon his vision for the Future of RPA, and how Cognitive Workforces will need to evolve to meet the ever growing development of technologies such as AI and Machine Learning.

Tobias is leading the Process Automation, Innovation and Robotics Framework at Siemens' Shared Services, and has been at Siemens for the past 6 years where he has had a key influence within the Finance Shared Services Strategy. Tobias has a Masters' degree in Finance and Accounting, and is a regular speaker and contributor within the RPA and Digital Transformation scene.
